o    Repaired an issue where the All Dates selection on the Assignment Grid was ignoring the date selection within a Custom filter

·         Memorization

o    Adjusted display so that items with a completion date are only displayed when that date is within the active school year

·         Detail Progress Report

o    Added display of option to turn on/off summarizing courses into subjects

·         Reschedule

o    Created a message when your options preclude any viable new dates, instead of a program-closing error.

o    Repaired the 2-week and every other day options so the correct dates are calculated

·         Assignment Copy

o    Repaired the 2-week and every other day options so the correct dates are calculated

·         Security

o    Correctly disabled right-click Group Edit option when student has limited access to database functions in the Security feature.

·         Transcript

o    Corrected formatting error on full page format when displaying Pass/Fail and percentage grade.

·         Assignments

o    Fixed “Past Due” display to show all appropriate items – those which are due prior to date range and not yet marked as complete, as well as all those due on or within the selected date range.

·         Attendance

o    Auto-Attendance correctly updated when using the right-click menu option to “Mark as Complete” or “Mark as Incomplete”

·         Main Menu

o    Fixed display to show words “Year” and “Term” correctly

·         Reports: Monthly Progress

o    Fixed report generation so that it correctly pulls completed items from the designated month/year. Previously pulling based on date range of other reports.

·         Weekly Planner

o    Updated Help File section to correctly sate that the Search function here does not include the page/lesson/chapter field since it is a different field than other areas of the program


Version 6.1 Release 3 - September 28, 2009

Fixes

·         Attendance

o    For ½ day Present, Time Spent or Sessions limits will be followed based on the type of time you’ve selected to track in the Attendance option.

o    Fixed an issue where using auto-attendance and manual hours removed the manual hours entry when new items were marked as complete on that date.

·         Grading

o    Letter grade displayed in Assignment add/edit window will now reflect the letter grade based on your rounding selection.

·         Lesson Plan: Submit – preview window

o    Created a task bar item for the preview window so that if you accidentally minimize the window, you can still find it.

·         Maintenance: Library and Maintenance: Resources

o    When you get the “this is a duplicate” message and choose no, a duplicate will no longer be created.

·         Memorization

o    When you remove the date complete, it now stays removed.

·         Reports

o    The “nothing to report” message now gives some ideas of things to check to change those results. Clicking OK on the “nothing to report” message window will open the options window for that report.

·         Reports – Library Items and Resources

o    Cleared up some ambiguity in the report options for used/un-used; and borrowed; loaned or neither by separating those option items.

·         Reports – Reading Log

o    If an entire entry cannot fit on the bottom of a page, a new page will be started instead of splitting the information across two pages, for better clarity.

·         Reports – Transcript

o    Report options now properly holds on to “combined” option after closing the program.

·         Reschedule with LP Schedule

o    When rescheduling by LP Schedule, the “skip non-school days” option will be disabled as items are only placed according to the schedule selected.

·         Security – new option – “Can change library items”

o    Enabling this option allows your student to add new Reading Log items without requiring that you give them permissions to change any other fields in assignments.

·         Tools: Options: Assignments: Assignment Location

o    Disabling this field no longer incorrectly disabled the Resource Location field in the Library Group Edit form.

·         Tools: Options: General

o    Disabling the Attendance tab no longer disables the option to skip over Holiday/Vacation/Other days or non-school days in copy; submit and prepare features.

·         Weekly Planner: Prepare – preview window

o    Created a task bar item for the preview window so that if you accidentally minimize the window, you can still find it.

o    This process was not properly reassigning the subject to go with the new Course selection for the Resource

o    Corrected the display of letter grade in the Transcript to reflect the rounded percentage value, rather than the actual value

Fixes

·         Autobacks

o    Added the same check for space before beginning the process that we added for regular backups to avoid program-closing error.

·         Import/Export

o    You can now properly select any location/folder for your exported files.

·         ISBN Lookup

o    Should Amazon again experience issues, you’ll get a message that there is a problem connecting and to try again later, rather than a program-closing error.

·         Lesson Plan – Change Sequence Numbers

o    The “Make it Fit” option now calculates the new sequence numbers correctly, no matter how the Lesson Plan grid is grouped.

·         LP Schedule Display

o    Each entry will display specified items only. If you choose “Any Course” or “Any Activity”, those words will not appear on screen.

·         Reclassify

o    Reclassifying a Course to the none/blank course will no longer generate a program-closing error.

·         Resources

o    When re-enabling this option, the Library right-click menu is properly updated without having to restart the program.

·         Same Page/Lesson/Chapter

o    Correctly limited the field to 100 characters to avoid the “field is too small to accept the number of characters” error.

·         Student: Activities & Achievements

o    Fixed an issue with the “Add Time” area where the cache was not clearing correctly.

·         Supplies Report

o    Fixed an issue where the listed items would not clear properly when options were changed

o    Added a date field to the report output.

§  You can now choose to sort the report in alphabetical order by supply name or by date

§  When printing the report for Assignments, the Date field will show the Date Given for the assignment where the supply is listed. If you are not using the Date Given field, the Date Due will be listed

§  The date field will be blank for Lesson Plan and Weekly Planner items.

§  Items without dates will appear first on the list when sorting by Date

·         Help File (F1)

o    Recompiled the Help File so that more topic headings appear under each of the major categories, making it easier to find what you’re looking for.

 

New

·         Journal Font Option

o    Added a “Default Journal Font” option to the Tools: Options: General page which allows you to select the starting font (type; style; and size) for your Journal entries.

o    This will NOT change any existing journal entries. If you change the default font again down the line, new entries will show that font selection; old entries will retain their previous settings.

o    You can still elect to change the font and font attributes within individual Journal entries, as before.

·         Auto-Increment Page/Lesson/Chapter

o    When choose the “letters” option – failing to enter start with/end with values will create a reminder, rather than a program-closing error.

·         Backup

o    Prevented clicking of “Create Backup” button until a valid file name is entered

·         Chores

o    Fixed an issue where reclassify a chore caused a program-closing error.

·         Lesson Plan Submit - # of Days

o    Fixed an issue where Tracker was including non-school days in the calculation of Date Due

·         Lesson Plan Submit – Spread Evenly

o    Finally fixed the calculation for “spread evenly” so that it will always generate the correct data and never a program-closing error.

·         Lesson Plan Export

o    Now allows export to a folder location other than the Desktop

o    If all items are copy-protected (excluded from export) you’ll get a polite message instead of a program-closing error.

·         Monthly Progress Report

o    Margins fixed at 0.5” all around and Portrait format to insure proper display of report

o    Choosing selected Subject/Course/Activity/Resource filters now properly affect the resulting report.

·         Program Options

o    Excluding Memorization and Reading Log tabs now disables the correct options in the Daily Task List Report options window.

·         Reading Log

o    Deleting the last “Add Time” entry no longer throws an error.

o    If you enter a book with a starting date that does not exist in any created school year, you will see a note that it is outside the active year, but no longer receive a program-closing error.

·         Reports

o    Added Pages field to “Fields to Include” options in Library; Resource; and Resources by Student reports.

·         Reschedule

o    Fixed an issue with the “Make It Fit” option (it’s a tricky process!)

o        Fixed a display issue from Monthly to one of the other views when the All Students setting is selected in the drop down list

·         Lesson Plan Submit

o        Fixed a calculation issue when using Submit and “spread evenly” option. With certain combinations of number of items over number of days, a calculation issue caused an error. Now fixed.

·         Reschedule

o        Fixed a calculation issue when using Reschedule and “make it fit” option. With certain combinations of number of items over number of days, a calculation issue caused an error. Now fixed.

·         Resource

o        Fixed an issue where the Library add window would come up when the Resource add window should have appeared.

o        Fixed an issue where it was ignoring selection when a number of fields were disabled/hidden

o        Fixed and issue where totals were correct but details were missing in the home/away versions of the report.


Version 6.0 Release 2 - April 8, 2009

Fixes

·         Assignments

o        Fixed an issue where using the COPY function created the assignments as completed – regardless of the status of the original copied item.

·         Choose Columns

o        Fixed an issue where it was ignoring selection when Student field was disabled/hidden

·         Grouping & Sorting

o        Fixed an issue for databases where the Lesson Plan; Resource and Reading Log tabs would throw an error if the previously grouped on field was no longer available.

o        If a sorting error occurs on startup, setting will be removed rather than throw an error.

·         Reading Log & Resource Grids

o        Added the option to view the Author; Publisher; Resource Type; Pages and Grade Level columns in these grids. These fields cannot be edited in the grid – only via the add/edit window or in the Library. However, with these fields in view you can group and sort on them if desired.

·         Reschedule

o        Fixed an issue where a program-closing error occurred when all items being rescheduled were set to the “None” (blank) Resource

·         Search

o        Ignores invalid characters – rather than throwing an error.

·         Windows Vista 64-bit

o        Fixed an issue with installation on Vista 64-bit platforms.
